This Sarangi is carved from one piece of toon wood in India. It is 27 inches long with 3 gut main strings which are bowed & 35 steel sympathic strings. The bone bridge sits atop a goat skin to produce a unique sound. The end of the instrument has a plate of brass attached to it. It is decorated with fish inlays & has a semi glass finish. It includes bow, fiberglass case, tuning tool and cloth bag.
