This intricately carved Torah Ark represents the Jewish people standing at Mount Sinai to receive the torah. Symbolic patterns carved into the doors show the mountain, swirling clouds, thunder, and the many heads of the people below. The ten commandments on the top of the mountain represented in the first 10 letters of the Hebrew Aleph Bet.   The construction design and portability option of the torah ark is based upon the instructions described for building of the Mishkan, which the Jewish people carried through the desert. Fits three sefer torah. dimensions: 203 cm high x 150 cm wide x 45 cm deep, top box: 94 cm wide x 118 cm tall
Available and Custom Hanging Aron Kodesh This Aron Kodesh was originally sold to Takoa, Israel Carlbach community as well as the Cleveland hillel foundation. Another Standing at Sinai aron kodesh was recently completed by Bass Furniture craftsmen which is currently  available for sale. The pasuk at the top can be custom carved across the top front beam. A mounted ner tamid can be custom designed to crown the top. Wheels can be added for portability. Please request any additional work upon inquiry.
