Description
Inscribed: "Many are the starrs I see but in my eyes no starr like thee" on the inside with sixteen round cornered stars in relief on the outside. From an original gold poesy ring dated to the 16th or 17th century, currently in the collection of the British Museum. Spelling and grammar were inconsistent during this time and the period spelling is charmingly reproduced.
