This oval shaped ring is incised with a Victory figure bearing a cross. Above her is a star and below is a Christogram and an olive branch, a symbol of victory. This oval ring from the 4th to 6th centuries marks the Byzantine empire with Constantinople as the new capital, current day Istanbul Turkey.
